    Additional info: The "UK-Lakes" atlas has 4 sections. The first, "Lakes Area", appears to have written two files OK to the "path"/UK-Lakes..../Lakes Area/, as expected. It failed when writing the second section "Central Lakes". The folder is empty.

    I tried again using a short path to my HD, with the same results.

    MOBAC previously succeeded making a different atlas with two sections, based in Utah. This worked fine in Oruxmaps (current stable version 6.5.0)

    Thanks, RB

    This seems to be rather a file-system problem or a problem with your system at all (vist scanner, virus infection, defect file-system).

      r_x - I think I might have found the answer. Examination of the profile for "UK-Lakes xx" shows:
      <layer name="Central Lakes ">
      <Map maxTileCoordinate="64511/41983" minTileCoordinate="64256/41472".</layer>

      The layer name has a space after the name, before the last quote; all other layer names have no space. I edited and saved the file under a different name, after which Mobac functioned fine. I don't know if the space was due to me editing the Atlas Content, or not.

      Original file, with space, attached.

      I'll work towards using v 1.9.16 and 2.0.0.

      thx, RB
