I did not tell you to try the driver from the avmaster card !
What might be interresting from the AVmaster is the support for the
saa7178. The PCI Brigde is very likely different, you have a Philips IC
(SAA7145) on the AV Master and a Zoran on all other zoran based cards I
know. (I don't know what IC the DC20 has) 

For further help you should start with some information. Like your
system, kernel, and the output when you compile the zoran driver (if you
use a kernel below 2.6.10) else you should attach the output of the
kernel wenn you load the modules (/var/log/messages)

Possibel I use on my Suse 10.0 gcc 4.0.2 and the zoran driver compiles
well and so do kernel modules. 

For further help of the compiling problem we need the version of the
zoran driver you want to compile, and the output to see what goes wrong.
