I think that only the bridge used in the BUZ caused that much problems. Becaue they produced only a very smal number of that chips. The mjpegtools work on 64 Bit Alpha tested by Bob McElrath and I've tested them on a IBM Power4 CPU. The only problem I encountered on the PowerIV was a mpeg2enc chrash with when encoding with -M 2 or higer.
