Ah, ok - it did look very familiar (3rd time I'd seen it) ;) At the present time people should not push mpeg2enc too hard (with low values of -q). That triggers the rate control bug and causes mpeg2enc to use an effective -q of 30 to 40 - which looks terrible of course. Cheers, Steven Schultz |
