MJPEG Tools Svn

Added jpeg2yuv's missing dependency on the JPEG libraries (since it directly
uses jpeg_() functions from those libraries).

Throw in AC_CANONICAL_TARGET to appease the borkedness of SDL's sdl.m4.

Argh.

o Reverted back to v1.5, i.e. with macros for Pthreads and quicktime.
o Kept the removal of query for jpeg-mmx-1.4.
*and*
o Actually committed 'acinclude.m4', which contains the new autoconf macros.

remove check for the obsolete jpeg-mmx-0.1.4 library - the check for ../jpeg-mmx and /usr/local/src/jpeg-mmx is sufficient.

Forgot the status message after AC_TRY_COMPILE

Fix (or attempt to fix) the pthreads and libquicktime) checks.

Next wave:

o Change mjpegtools version to 1.7.0 --- seriously, so much has changed!
o Reinstated --with-jpeg-mmx.
o Added --without-png option.
o Put AM_CONDITIONAL's closer to where the actual decisions are made.
o Replaced all the pthread stuff with ACX_PTHREAD.
o Use AC_PATH_LIB() for libquicktime.
o Tidied the X finding stuff.

o Created "acinclude.m4" with extra macros.

Remove the fixed/compiled in max pathname length of 80 characters. Do a little
cleanup and modernization and remove the unreferenced AIFF routines since
mp2enc has been WAV only all along.

More scrub-a-dub-dubbing:

o Fix mailing list name ("@lists.sourceforge.net").
o Ensure --with-quicktime and --with-dv default to 'on'.
o Remove --with-dv-yv12 option.
o Various quoting ([,]) cleanups.
o Caching of PRID64_STRING_FORMAT.
o Remove oddball host/build typing. (Stick to $host, etc.)
o Remove IRIX bits.
o Remove GLIB bits.
o Clean-up libquicktime check.
o Use pkg-config for libpng, libdv.
o Clean up __progname check/caching.
o Clean up GTK, SDL checks.
o Remove BUILD_MJPEG.
o Remove definition of VERSION (since automake already does this).
o Remove mjpegtools-config.
