Add AC_PREREQ(2.57) to insist on autoconf 2.57 at a minimum. Slightly earlier
versions _may_ work - if folks are using 2.53 and it works then we can update the
the configure.in file.

Add the original INSTALL file as INSTALL.real so that autoreconf will not
overwrite INSTALL with the generic installation instructions.

Begin the deprecation process for autogen.sh in favor of autoreconf -f -i

- changed blocksize to 8x8 overlapped

- disarmed other chroma-modes than 420 (temporarily, until all memory
glitches are fixed)

- fixed memory-bugs (writing into memory not owned by the deinterlacer)
by 4:2:0 routines (so this should be running on a Mac ?!) electric-
fence does only moan about *reading* out-off-bounds, now... I'm not
sure how to fix this (and if it's really needed)...

- non-linear intra-field interpolation (which looks better than sinc as
we don't have alias-free source-images ...

- motion-compensation limited to power of 2 for y-axis (avoids some
alias-problems -- and adds flicker, sometimes ... hmm)

Bug fixes and improvements:
o Produce true -I/+Q patches in bottom row (20 IRE (I think) by default);
optionally produce +Cb/+Cr instead.
o PLUGE tweaked so it is now as close to (+/-)4 IRE as possible, I think.
o Man page enhancement.
o Produce 4:4:4 output by default.

Remove unused variables and add <string.h> for the memcpy prototype.

Included the Patch from Linards Ticmanis, from the 4.July.04 so it compiles with the GCC 3.4.x

Move the max bitrate and buffer size checks inside the "no constraints" block.
Before this change using --no-constraints would still give an error with very
high bitrates.

Some cleanup but also an attempt to fix compilation with gcc 3.4.x which does not
accept KEEP_SOURCE:; - change that to leave out the trailing ;
