I can't install it properly. The application opens but, as soon as I start to type and operate it (open a file from the library), it crashes with the following message (I also attached the fulll message):

Which version of Minsky were you trying to install?
Also you mention trying to open the library - all this does presently
is fire up your web browser (Safari by default) and point it at the
minsky-model github project.
Are you able to create new models in Minsky?
What about opening .mky files from disk?
Does opening the help similarly cause a crash?
Maybe you could try running minsky from the command line and see if
there's any other meaningful output:

I installed the 1.56 Mac, but the same thing happens with the more recent beta versions.
Are you able to create new models in Minsky?
No, as soon as create a variable, it simply crashes.
What about opening .mky files from disk?
Tried that. The app does not even open.
Does opening the help similarly cause a crash?
When I try to open the help, a message pops up saying there is no help available.
I was able to reproduce the problem now on another non-developer Mac. Developer macs run the software just fine!!! This appears to be a problem with the Aqua build of minsky - the last working version is 1.54, which was an X11 build. For now, I have simply reverted the default Mac download to 1.54, pending potential fix.
It is possible that Minsky 2 Quesnay will be released before I get to investigating and fixing Cantillon, in which case I probably will not release a fix for Cantillon.
The 2.0.x problem turned out to be an ordering problem in the .pkg generation script - the package file was being generated before the TCL libraries were copied in. This will be fixed in the upcoming 2.0.17 beta release.
