This is again something to make it easier for me to create good videos to promote Ravel.
Expand Preferences to include an Edit Mode choice like this:

Edit Mode First All None Continue
Row/Col Buttons
Ravels
Edit Mode First All None Continue
My choices would be All for both, since that makes it easy to place them on the canvas and start editing them immediately when I'm giving a talk.
Continue as a checkbox would continue the last choice made on the canvas, as currently happens with Flip.
It's not critical for performance etc., but having this ASAP will make it possible for me to create very fluid videos on using Ravel.
