I found a problem with the build scripts for debian-based (including
Ubuntu) distributions. I have fixed that, so you might like to try
again in an hour or so.
I need to find a way of running tests of the Linux distros
automatically - I have a manual test I can run, but it needs to be run
several hours after I do a release, not something I can easily
remember to do.
Cheers

That could maybe be an alternative way of installing for persons who have problem with it and want to see how software works. It is not very difficult to do.
Maybe even for a Mac or Windows users.

But panopticon has to be turned off in larger models for a better performance in a current version (February 2020). Otherwise scrolling is slow.
Windows behaves badly when instaled in virtualbox as a second system from my experience.

I've actually found Windows installed in VirtualBox to work quite well
(Linux host). Never had any of the driver hassles that people report
when running it on real hardware.
Just wish Apple will let me install MacOSX on a VirtualBox as well!

Then I maybe didn't leave enough memory for Windows in virtualbox because it works slowly. Scrolling is also difficult but maybe it can be setted up somehow.

I have tried that. I can run version 2.17 with word "minsky".

I take a look when I sit down at a mahine with Ubuntu on it.

I reinstaled Windows 10 in oracle virtualbox from ISO image available on internet and now it seems to work faster.
