No, it didn't. I simply forgot -mno-cygwin when I specified -Wl,-Map .

But the problem persists:
hello.o(.text+0x2c):hello.cc: undefined reference to `_imp__cout'
/usr/mingw/lib/libstdc++.a(floatconv.o)(.text+0x1244): undefined reference
to `_imp___HUGE_dll'
