[Mingw-users] [Newbie] How to create DLL + Lib

Hi all

I want to create a DLL as well as the librar (.a) file from a set of object
files. From the ld help, I'vegot so far:
ld --dll --subsystem windows --relocateable --major-image-version 1
--minor-image-version 32 --enable-stdcall-fixup --output-def=libstc_132.def
-o libstc_132.dll *.o

My question is: how do I specify the name of the library (.a) file ? Should
it be: --out-implib libstc_132.a ?

I'm using the latest MinW snapshot downloaded from sourceforge on WinNT 4.
