Hi guys I had a little problem with very simple scripts. I needed ability to test if file is real file or directory. I used "-d" and "-f" switches, but my script didn't work. I tracked everything down to problem with msys and wrote some simple scripts to test the problem wich seems to confirm. I have posted the script and tryed to describe the odd behaviour on msys forum: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1249853&forum_id=338575 but nobody has answered yet ... :). I'm not a bash guru, but since I use linux as well, I have much more experience with bash then dos batch files, and would like to rather use bash for scripting things then to learn dos commands. But I need to know if this is bug in msys or if I did something wrong ... Hope someone can take a peek into this and post a word or two ... thnks & advance |
