greetings everyone, I've installed MSYS and MinGW with the aim of being able to install any CPA= N module I may like... often these require a compiler and at least a meke u= tility. the first thing I notice is that: # perl -MCPAN -e shell does not give me a prompt... that is, it waits for input but there's no vis= ual clue about it... as though PS2 weren't set (but it is)... the second th= ing I noticed is that I have the same problem with: # perl -d tst.pl the debugger doesn't quite work... I notice that the $TERM is set to "msys"= which I presume is right... can anyone suggest what the problem may be? I'm running on Win2k thanks - erick calder Consultant Western Asset Management Inc. ********************************************************************** E-mail sent through the Internet is not secure.
