I've played a bit with it and had no problems. IMHO, only C/C++ should be the core of MinGW GCC with other "language packs" downloadable as needed - GCJ itself is rather large (and getting bigger every day). Even the self-installing "MinGW" exe might want to do something like IE setup (or Cygwin setup) where it only gets the components that the user has selected (but gcc-core, binutils, mingw-runtime and w32api included and made mandatory).
