[Mingw-users] double to unsigned short assignment

Hi all

this could be a general c++ question though - so am sorry...

double a(70000.0);
unsigned short b=a;

it would seem that b is wrapped  ie it will not be 65535...

is this correct behaviour?

or in a simpler example is this a correct behaviour for 259 being 
assigned to unsigned char to get a low value (ie 0 or 1)...
