[Mingw-users] confusion: mingw-runtime-0.4-20001121.tar

Hello Helpful Friends,

I am confused by the Sourceforge archive download specified in the Subject: 
(please don't make me type it again .. :-).

The dir tree in the tarball doesn't look anything much like what I have on 
my local filesystem for MinGW. In the tarball, there's the following dirs that 
contents will be unpacked into: bin, include, include/sys, and lib.

My MinGW tree has got things organized completely differently (please see 
below). I see that some of the files can go under "gcc-2.95.2/i386-
mingw32msvc" -- but not the dll, there's no `bin', in there ;-).
Sorry if this has already been answered / discussed on the List. Can 
somebody point me the right way? When did this change? I know packaging 
is a point of nearly continuous discussion, and one that Mr. Sokolovsky has 
a lot to say about :-).
