On 9 Dec 2000, an entity purporting to be [Soren Andersen <so...@wo...>] wrote [regarding HTML "help" for PW32 bash (attch)] > I don't know where to upload or send this {snip} > It isn't MS-format "HTML Help", it's an HTML document made from the > output of `bash -c help <cmdname>' for each bash built-in. {snip} > Attachments: > E:\data\web\Wonderstorm\generate\bash_instr.html SORRY! It's not only *not* MS "HTMLHelp" format, it's also *only half- complete*. Only half the bash commands are in it! Please *disregard* the previous attachment and instead perhaps check out *this one* (which is generated for a *different* bash than the previous; for: GNU bash, version 2.02.1(2)-release (i586-pc-cygwin32) (that is, Cygwin bash, which I think many users on this list do use.) *If interest is expressed* in the analogous (fixed) output for the PW32 build of bash, I'll put some time into regenerating it. Cannot do so this evening. Thanks Again, soren andersen |
