I wrote a small terminal program for Cygwin pty a few years ago.
It was definitely faster than Console or TeraTerm.
I liked it with Cygwin-built ssh to login to Unix hosts to do my
everyday administrative jobs.
It needs some brushup before open to public, but I stopped using
Cygwin anyway so it is unmaintained since then.
