Hi There > This is the first such report. Perhaps displaying what commands perl is >trying to execute? Simply typing "perl" from within Msys rxvt terminal will cause the error as will "perl --version" Also running any tools that require perl also cause the error. I have cygwin installed, but as far as I know this shouldnt be a problem. Just in case it was I deleted my cygwin folder and tried again, still I had the same error. "Perl has caused an error on LIBPERL.DLL Perl will now close" As far as I can tell this is a windows message and not a libperl.dll message. >No, make sure your environment has plenty of bytes. MSys is given 4096 byte environment , I did this by setting the Initial Environment to 4096 in Properties for msys.bat. >Earnie. >P.S.: I'll be uploading rc-3 early next week. unfortunately rc-4 gives me the same problem Cheers Dave. http://slashwilts.org |
