If you have a MinGW port, then there will be little benefit for an MSYS
port w.r.t. actually releasing one to the rest of the world.  Given
that, it is beyond the scope of what MSYS is for.  There is some POSIX
thread support already within MSYS itself but I don't have plans to
extend it.

I don't see a particular need for an MSYS port, so, what ever fits for
you.
