Bugs item #416942, was updated on 2001-04-17 20:51 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=416942&group_id=2435 Category: mingw runtime Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: struct stat binary incompatibility Initial Comment: after some tedious debugging of a ported program, i found that in the struct stat defined in sys/stat.h, there might be binary incompatibility with that of microsoft's msvcrt. I haven't yet the time to find out which structure element is messed up, or if at all. the symptom that i experienced is that i'm unable to obtain file size by referring to the stat.st_size element. it returns some garbage instead. i'm using cygwin's gcc ... though ... after few hours of mingling with gdb and stuff, i'm dizzy enough, and i should wrap up here .... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Danny Smith (dannysmith) Date: 2001-04-17 22:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=11494 Search the cygwin archives for a thread on "fstat bug". Hopefully, all will be revealed and you won't feel dizzy anymore Danny ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=416942&group_id=2435 |
