You mean MSYS-1.0.6 and MinGW-1.1?

This is the first report of any such problem.  libW11.dll should live in
msys\1.0\bin and should have been installed with the install process. 
Which architecture file are you using?  You say you found a libX11.dll
but that wasn't supplied by the package and simply renaming it to
libW11.dll ain't ever going to work so don't do such things.

Try the install again.  The libW11.dll is required and must exist within
the setup package or I would have heard about it by now.
