Category: gcc Group: Waiting User Response >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: copx (copx) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Objective-C depends on MSYS Initial Comment: The installer (mingw-get-inst-20110211.exe) allows you to choose Objective-C support but no MSYS. I discovered the hard way that Objective-C DEPENDS on MSYS these days. You can easily see that yourself by trying to use your installer, install Objective-C support but no MSYS. The compiler won't even find <objc/Object.h> in this case. And yes, I did set the environment variables. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: copx (copx) Date: 2012-11-18 21:04 Message: Look at the date of my original bug report. This was a problem back then but it was fixed. Somebody forgot to close this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Earnie Boyd (earnie) Date: 2012-11-12 11:36 Message: I don't believe objective-c depends on MSYS. Please provide me a test case, I don't do objective-c. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=3189785&group_id=2435 |
