Category: MSYS Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Earnie Boyd (earnie) Assigned to: Cesar Strauss (cstrauss) Summary: PATH translation error Initial Comment: I am setting up a development system with a separated instance of MinGW/MSYS on a different drive. I have always had ``c:/opt /opt'' in my fstab or I would have noticed this before. In my alternate system I set the PATH to ``.:/mingw/bin:/bin:/c/opt/vim/vim73''. My new MinGW/MSYS system is on drive E. I enter the command gvim fstab and received and error ``e:/mingw-minimal/msys/1.0/opt/vim/vim73/gvim''. If i ``gvim.exe fstab'' it opens the file. If I add ``c:/opt /opt'' to fstab then gvim fstab works. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Cesar Strauss (cstrauss) Date: 2011-10-12 12:15 Message: Dear Ernie, Could you send the output of "alias gvim", "which gvim" and "which gvim.exe"? Thanks, Cesar ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=3417131&group_id=2435 |
