I'm trying to compile Ruby 1.9.2-p0, which is available here:

This is part of RubyInstaller project: http://github.com/oneclick/rubyinstaller/

For building Ruby for Windows using MinGW 3.4.5

For that you will need a working environment, but for actually see
this problem you only need MSYS and MinGW.

The way I invoked the configure was like this:

mkdir build
cd build
sh -c "../configure --enable-shared optflags='-O0' debugflags='-g -pg'"

doing that it stall when checking for integer size.

I took the sample program from config.log and tried myself outside
Ruby own autoconf/configure process and stalled the same.

I was using cmd.exe directly (not from bash) and using MSYS make with
either GCC 3.4.5 or 4.5.0 from MinGW and TDM too.

In all cases, enabling profile options results in stalled process as I
described.

Thank you, want to know if is possible enable profiling on Windows,
which will be very helpful for me pinpoint some Ruby performance
issues.
