I throw my custom class inherited from std::exception from within my
DLL, and it makes Windows popup the error message saying that
libstdc++-6.dll caused an error, and my application will be closed.

I probably won't be of much help anyway, as I lack the technical
knowledge to help you, but I'll say this so others might be able to
help you out.
It's good to know what versions of everything you use, but a minimal
sample which does nothing but throw a custom class together with that
custom class. Additionally, you might provide information about why
you think this is a mingw-related issue - does the code work on gcc,
did you try it on any other compiler, etc.
It's not that people don't want to help you if you don't provide
enough information (alright, sometimes there's a bit of that too) but
it's that they can't.
