I do recall Earnie having mentioned it; (this in a private communique to myself and Luke Dunstan, dated 19-Feb-2009): > I also now have control of the domain from Mumit Khan. Unfortunately, I can neither recall nor locate any follow up, to provide the information promised "at a later time", and Earnie does not seem to be available to comment, at the moment, (nor have I had any contact with Luke for a long time). > > 2) Since registration is not free, we either need a sponsor, or > > we need to make some other arrangement for funding the > > registration; it certainly would not be fair to ask any > > individual to fund this on behalf of the entire MinGW user > > community. Assuming we can regain access to the registration account -- I don't even have the login account name -- does anyone have any suggestions for a potential sponsor? Mumit, can you provide me with the same information you passed to Earnie, and if necessary, field a "forgotten password" enquiry [*] on my behalf? [*] FWIW, if I visit register.com, select "log in", and then attempt my own "forgotten user name or password" enquiry, they claim not to have any user name registered for the mingw.org domain, yet they are listed by `whois' as the sponsoring registrar; I don't understand what is going on here. -- Regards, Keith. |
