But what if you are using a 3rd-party (32-bit) library you don't have
sources to, which uses time_t in its API, and links to msvcrt.dll?
Whether *your* code is compiled against a newer CRT with a 64-bit
time_t doesn't change that fact.

(Oh well, so you could edit the headers of that 3rd-party library and
change time_t to int32_t to make it explicit what is meant.)
