Hi Chris, >> It is formed by the combination of the following packages: >> >> gcc-3.4.4-1-msys-1.0.12-bin.tar.lzma >> binutils-2.19.51-1-msys-1.0.12-bin.tar.lzma >> msysCORE-1.0.12-1-msys-1.0.12-dev.tar.lzma >> w32api-3.14-mingw32-dev.tar.gz.tar.lzma > > I'm curious, why was a new w32api necessary? I didn't upload a new w32api, I just re-used the existing MinGW one. I see now that the text above reads as the very list of files that I uploaded, but it's not. Let me rephrase: I created a new toolchain for MSYS based on GCC 3.4.4. To install it, unpack the following new packages under the MSYS root: MSYS gcc gcc-3.4.4-1-msys-1.0.12-bin.tar.lzma MSYS binutils binutils-2.19.51-1-msys-1.0.12-bin.tar.lzma MSYS Base System msysCORE-1.0.12-1-msys-1.0.12-dev.tar.lzma In addition, unpack the following MinGW package, but again under the MSYS root, so that MSYS gcc can find it: MinGW API for MS-Windows w32api-3.14-mingw32-dev.tar.gz (or newer) Sorry for the confusion, and hope this clears it up.
