I did get the "no output" behavior, and some my configure/make files
used to report
strange/inconsistent errors. The reason that time was a apparently
unrelated process
named "Logitech Video COM Service" (LVCOMSe) (I guess), It was configured on
automatic initialization, I just turned it to manual and shut it down.
And once this process
is not running I stopped getting that strange behavior with 'rxvt' terminal.
