Hi Rob, Thanks for your quick answer. I tried your solutions and they did not work. Then I tried to build an Eclipse MinGW project from scratch and saw that it adds automatically "lib" suffix to my built library. I added this suffix to my libraries and the compilation succeeded. I've read somewhere in the MinGW site that there is this convention of library names but was not aware that it is strictly kept in Eclipse (maybe I've missed some settings over there) - When I compiled my application using mingw32-make, there was no need for this convention. If I understand correctly, you've specified '-lL:/temp/testMingw/myLib.a'. You should change that to '-LL:/temp/testMingw -lmyLib'. Alternatively you could set the LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to L:/temp/testMingw, and then it would be necessary to specify simply '-lmyLib'.
