C:\>gcj --main=Bla -o Bla.exe Bla.java gcj: CreateProcess: No such file or directory The old version 3.4.5 shipped with the MinGW "thisiscool" download worked without problems, compiled a big SWT project but is of course restricted to a stoneage version of Java. So I was pleased by the announcement of the new 4.4 and tried it out with a simple System.out.println-file. Result: see above. I suppose it is the new eclipse java compiler that is not found. I downloaded it in version ecj-20080701-src.jar Where to place it and how to tell gcj to find it? I played around with several classpaths, but it didn't help. Even the brutal way of placing it directly in ..\jre\lib\ext did not help. Google wasn't my friend and the f...ing manual was no salvation. Has anyone succeeded in compiling Java on Windows to native exe with the new 4.4 and can explain his configuration?
