Hello I was attempting to install MinGW using a set of instructions, which unfortunately didn't highlight the danger of deleting an environment variable string. This is exactly what I did when it came to adding the path C:\Program Files\GnuWin32 to the path environment variable (replaced the existing string with the new one, clicked OK without thinking). Is there any way of recuperating from this mistake? Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have had a major effect on my system, except I can't get MinGW to work, obviously. My knowledge on computers doesn't extend much beyond the basics, so any info/advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time! Simon P.S.
