I am attempting to use gcov with a very simple Eclipse CDT project. I will admit I am new to gcov, but I've been through their documentation and can't find an explanation. Test harness source file: C:\some_folder\src\main.c Object folders: C:\some_folder\Debug\src I am building with the gcc switches -fprofile-arcs and -ftest-coverage and get the expected .gcda and .gcno files along with my .o files. However, when I try and run (from C:\some_folder): gcov src/main.c -o Debug/src I get: File `..\src\main.c' Lines executed:99.04% of 209 ..\src\main.c:could not open output file `..\src\main.c.gcov' It looks like everything works fine in terms of analysing the graph files as it gives the coverage summary (-f switch works too and give the per-function breakdown). However, it fails inexplicably when creating the .c.gcov. Can anyone help? |
