Hello. As I don't know when the Vista 64 compatible version of MSYS will be released, I want to
build my own applying the patch for the fork issue in the child_info.h file. But I am really blind
about how to start.
I have downloaded HEAD revision of MSYS from the CVS repository at sourceforge, but there is not
clear information about the build process. In one of the readmes talks about getting gcc 2.95.3
from /cygwin/release/gcc, but I cannot find it in the repository, nor in the cygwin repository
itself. At least I have tried to download with Tortoise CVS and it failed.
I only have executed msysdvlpr, that opens a new MSYS shell instance, but I don't know how to
continue from this.
I would appreciate any help for getting this to work in the meanwhile a new package of Mingw and
msys is being constructed, or some alternative (another make?) that uses another kind of fork
call, if that is possible.
Thanks in advance.
