would probably be fine. I work in science and the source code of my
programs is freely available anyway: the point is to make the
algorithms I design widely available to anyone wanting to use (and
improve) them.

That being said---yes, it would be nice being able to forget about
such "technicalities" and just provide people with an executable.

So, going back to Danny's reply yesterday. Danny, you mentioned that
you use these functions and that you can point to code. Any more
details?
