[Mingw-users] mingw.org and Sourceforge downloads

Hello All,

I recently became aware that the downloads at th Sourceforge Mingw
download page
(http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2435) are more
recent) than those at the mingw.org download page
(http://www.mingw.org/download.shtml).

Is there a particular reason for this?
