[Mingw-users] RPM and Mingw (concluding)

Hi all

I think it's time to wrap up the discussion on this idea of RPM in
MinGW; it has already consumed more of people's time than perhaps it
should have. There has not been the enthusiasm that I thought there
might have been. It seems that it's thought to be too complex and not
worth pursuing, and I am going to accept that at this point.

Perhaps minimal¸ bespoke package-downloader script might be more
acceptable, or perhaps just some changes to the NSIS installer, to
support non-core MinGW packages? I will take a look at some options.
