Hi, Looks like I spoke to soon. When I inspected an install of Previous, I found it had included Current packages. I've repeated this a few times to be sure, and the "mixedup" log shows the problem. Strangely enough, the installer can be made to act correctly by pressing Back after choosing "Full". i.e. select "Previous" (clicking Next) select "Full" (clicking Back) select "Previous" (next) (next). The result is the "correct" log attached. Due to mailing list restrictions, I've trimmed both logs due to mailing list restrictions, and attacted a diff of the two log files (previous.diff). Now having jumped through that hoop to install the correct Previous packages, running the updater asks whether I want to install "runtime", "w32api" and "core compiler". This then installs the Current version of this packages into my Previous environment (see update.log). -- John |
