Of course not, nor does the libtool DLL naming style mean that you
would be supposed to. If your newer versions are backward compatible
with the older ones, the DLL should keep the same name. I.e. if you
change the --version-info option passed to libtool at all, you should
increment both CURRENT and AGE.

(At least, the above is how I understand the issue. Please correct me
if I am wrong ;)
