They aren't included because nobody has contributed them.  If somebody submits
clean patches based on publicly available information that implement the required
functionality I am positive they will be accepted.  But you can't just copy
from the platform SDK, because that would lead to copyright problems.    As
with any volunteer open source project it will happen only when somebody decides
to make it happen.
