Cool.  Want to think about creating a mingwPORT of the two packages?  
One for pthreads and the other for PostgreSQL?  If yes, check out the 
portmaker module from CVS, create the mingwPORT package and then submit 
to the "mingwPORT Submission" tracker for the project.  Create a 
submission for each package.
