Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3402884 By: hptyrn I have problems installing MinGW. Somehow I just can't get it working. I'm using a Win32 pc, WinXp I downloaded gdb-5.2.1-1.exe mingw32-make-3.80.0-3.exe binutils-2.15.91-20040904-1.tar.gz gcc-core-3.4.2-20040916-1.tar.gz mingw-runtime-3.9.tar.gz mingw-utils-0.3.tar.gz w32api-3.3.tar.gz And I want to know where I need to unpack the archives and install the two exe's. It is probably very simple and obvious, but I've spent hours trying all various possibilities, and I just can't get it working. Additionally, which paths must I include in the PATH environment variable? And lastly, I can not use the installer MinGW-5.0.0.exe, the program refuses to download anything. That;s why I now try to get eahc package individually. Of course, if you can tell me how to fix that, I'm equally - or probably even more - happy. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
