Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3130805 By: useradd Taking your suggestion, compiling the gcc and g++ successfully. But the same thing happens when I compile the c++ code, it can not find the headfiles. I must set the enviroment variable set CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH=c:\mingw\include\c++\4.0.0, then I can use the g++ to compile the simplest code. #include <iostream> #include <cstdlib> int main(void) { std::cout << "hello world\n"; return 0; /*EXIT_SUCCESS;*/ } I want to know if you need set this enviroment variable before compile c++ code. The same thing happens when I use the build script of mingw "gcc-3.4.2-build.sh", but I need not to set this enviroment CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH when I use the precompiled binary package of mingw. My os is win2003 standard server, using msys 1.0.11, binutils-2.15.91 and w32api 3.2, mingw-runtime-3.7. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
