In this sense, I mean virtual as in hardware hyperthreaded, not any sort of emulation. That threw me off on some testing once until I realized I had two CPUs with hyperthreading enabled in the box with four CPUs (two were disabled on the board). So it looked like I had four CPUs, but I only had two CPUs worth of cycles.
