Hi, Trying to build the perl extension, PDL, with the Current version of MinGW (MinGW-3.1.0-1.exe) is no problem - but when I switch to the Candidate (MinGW-3.2.0-rc-3.exe) I get the following error: D:MinGWin..ibgccmingw32.4.2ibgcc.a(__main.o)(.text+0x4f): undefined reference to `__EH_FRAME_BEGIN__' D:MinGWin..ibgccmingw32.4.2ibgcc.a(__main.o)(.text+0x73): undefined reference to `__EH_FRAME_BEGIN__' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status dmake.exe: Error code 129, while making '....librchutoPDLSlatecSlatec.dll' dmake.exe: Error code 255, while making 'subdirs' dmake.exe: Error code 255, while making 'subdirs' I can find a plain text match for __EH_FRAME_BEGIN__ in libgcc.a, though there's no match for the text EH_FRAME_BEGIN in any of the other files. I realise that this is stretching the bounds of on-topicness, and that I haven't provided very good information, but if someone can suggest a way that I might make some progress with this, then that would be great. At the moment I'm clueless as to what I should be looking at/into. I don't know if it's a problem with RC3, or a problem with PDL - even determining that would constitute "progress". (Perl itself seems to build ok with RC3, it's just this particular extension that's troublesome.) Cheers, Rob |
