However I seem to recall that by default _ASSERT displays the text in a message box. The _assert provided in MinGW does not do this for a GUI (-mwindows) build: at least I can't get it to. I guess assert.h could conditionally call a popup assert or pass a flag to the CRTDLL function. SteveL |
