Hi Jerry I would suggest downloading the complete MingW package (not just g++!) and getting an IDE (such as DevC++). Compiling by hand (as you seem to want to do) I find difficult and tiresome - it is much better to use and IDE and have it build the makefiles for you. Or, if you get MSYS, you can use Linux style autotools to build makefiles, and have your commandlines to compile your code automatically built for you by tools. Doing it by hand is also hard when you start doing larger projects with many source files, and you have to handle dependencies manually.
