It should be enough to download just the MinGW and MSYS installers, but it is
usually recommended that you get the latest version of at least GCC, mingw-runtime
and w32api. I can't tell you whether you need MSVC because it depends on the
specific application but you probably don't. Are you a programmer? If not, have
you compiled any software before? Have you tried running the "build" script
in the MSYS shell?
