After all, they know a little about GCC implementation of tls already (search the gcc archives and you'll find some references to tls for cygwin and mingw). So the sources you should be working with are the trunk of GCC and binutils CVS. They are just as easy to work with as the mingw local tree. Maintaining mingw-local patches is not fun. GCC-3.4 doesn't really need them anymore (well not many,anyway). I want to keep it that way.
